Esprit de Corps

FOM AwardsThe Festivals of Music Esprit de Corps Award offers the opportunity to recognize participating organizations which display an exemplary attitude of positive support and outstanding personal behavior. Unlike other trophies that focus on musical achievement based on the scores of the adjudication panel, this coveted prize spotlights the performance of the students throughout the festival weekend as they demonstrate their highest level of responsible behavior. Personal integrity, quality character values, a desire for excellence, and a spirit of cooperation serve as the cornerstone qualities of the Esprit de Corps Award.

We are delighted to announce the Festivals of Music Esprit de Corps trophy will now bear the name of one of our nations most respected and admired music educators. Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser. "Dr. Tim" has been a long-time member of the Festivals of Music family; his signature contribution over the past two decades is clearly recognized as an exclusive benefit to all. It is with enthusiastic fanfare we proudly title this award in his honor; a trophy that personifies the message he brings to countless students, directors and parents throughout the nation.
