Hosting A Festival
Hosting
a Festivals of Music event can be an excellent annual fund raiser for your program.
In addition to a donation to your music department and an honorarium
to the teacher, most groups raise additional funds through food concessions.
Our Festivals of Music staff will contract judges, schedule the groups, and
do most of the planning prior to the weekend of the event. You would be expected
to have the areas set-up and your staff scheduled prior that weekend.
A school
music faculty member with access to all areas must be in attendance at all times
throughout the event. A Festivals of Music staff member would be there at all
times during the weekend to help manage the festival and handle any conflicts
that may arise.
To
be considered you should have the following:

the city we are featuring for the event
