Special performance notes:
- Barbershop Quartets must have four-part harmony.
- Show Choirs should have choreography, Jazz Swing Choirs do not.
- Taped accompaniment is not encouraged, but is acceptable. Please contact your Program Director at least two weeks prior to the festival to arrange for a sound system. Accompaniment tapes must be instrumental only, with no back-up voices.
- Total time on/off stage must not exceed 30 minutes.
- There can be a 3-minute (no longer) warm-up, which is optional.
- Two adjudicated selections may not exceed the time limit, taking into consideration the logistics of entrance, set-up, warm-up and exit.
- There will be a 25-minute warm-up, in a separate room, preceding your performance. Please refer to the performance schedule.
Special Note to Show Choirs: Please limit props to those that can be easily carried by the participants. Use of Platform Risers and Sets is highly discouraged and should not be used. The time limit for performance (including set-up and exit) is still 30 minutes and you must adhere to these guidelines.
