General Information

  • No pyrotechnics, discharge of arms, pressurized canisters, dangerous materials, inflammable liquids, or animals will be permitted on or around the competition area.
  • All wheels and sharp edges must be taped properly. Participating units will be held financially responsible for any damage to gym floors due to improperly taped equipment, props and carts. There is no inspection involved in any portion of this competition.
  • Units will be permitted to utilize live accompaniment. Live musical instruments can be used on and off the floor. Proficiency of playing shall not be judged and players must be the same age as the members of the performing ensemble.
  • The festival official will serve as the ONLY contest official responsible for answering question, solving problems, etc. once the competition has started.
  • A cassette tape/CD player and public address system will be provided at the adjudication site. Units utilizing their own equipment must supply their own personnel for the set-up and operation of such equipment.
  • At select locations, the gym floor may already be covered with a protective mat. Please contact your Program Director with any questions.
  • Any damage to the gym floor is the responsibility of the performing unit.
